From 4 to 6 of September, get ready for an amazing weekend to relax and explore the most beautiful lagoons in the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
Day1:
This Friday, we arrive at our hotel and, after checking in, we have a lovely dinner with regional food to socialize and get to know each other better. There will also be a brief briefing to explain in detail what we have prepared for the following days.
Day 2:
On Saturday, we have a challenging route whose main objective will be to reach Meda da Rocalva. Located in the heart of the Serra do Gerês, this geosites stands out for its imposing presence and is bordered by Cutelo de Pias and Roca Negra. Upon reaching this meadow, we have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and tranquility of the mountains. We will return to our starting point, but not before making a stop for a swim in the famous Poço Azul (Blue Pool).
After so many achievements and discoveries, we head to our hotel, where a well-deserved dinner and gathering await us, to celebrate this great day with sharing, smiles, and the certainty that each step taken has been etched in our memory.
Meda da Rocalva Trail; 15 km; 800 meters elevation gain.
Day 3:
Sunday is reserved for a new adventure! We will hike the 7 Lagoons Trail and take the opportunity to taste the water from each one!
Between dips, we will also have the opportunity to visit places that make this experience even more special, such as the imposing Wolf Trap or the beautiful Goat Poio. We will also appreciate the Cabril River valley, whose water echoes secrets of the forest and complements the natural charms of the path. Our path follows the calm levada that culminates in the charming Cubo Vertical mill, giving this day an even more special character, combining the nature of the mountain with the astuteness and knowledge of the people who live there.
