On December 20th we will discover Santa Claus Village, in Gralheira, in the middle of Montemuro Mountain.
Starting in Talhada Village, with its characteristic thatch houses, we will travel through the Montemuro plateau, the most unknown mountain range in Portugal, as Amorim Girão classified it.
Next, we will visit one of the most emblematic places in the mountains: the D. João lagoon, an altitude lagoon, one of the few in Portugal, of a large size that deeply marks the landscape.
Continuing our route, we reach the village of Gralheira, home to a stunning landscape with fertile and green marshes, which at this time is dressed up to celebrate the Christmas season, with various activities and decorations alluding to this season.
After the more thematic part, we still have time to visit the famous Roman bridge of Panchorra, in the village with the same name, before returning to our starting point.
