Starting in the charming village of Agarez, the trail crosses rural landscapes and the natural and cultural heritage of the region and the five villages: Agarez, Arnal, Galegos da Serra, Sirarelhos and Quintelas.
We will travel through the mountainous area along Ribeira de Arnal, a deeply embedded valley that offers spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding area and the city of Vila Real. Along the way, hikers will have the opportunity to explore the five picturesque villages, flanked by agricultural fields, herding goats and Maronese cows.
At the highest point of the trail, we will cross a vast plateau, dominated by heather and carquey forests. This trail offers an unforgettable experience, combining the exploration of nature with direct contact with rural life.
