We begin the route through Rego Fureiro de Caleirões, typical of the times when precious water irrigated the fields at lower elevations, passing through the rural architecture of Devesas, Escariz and the Rosendo arch.
We then continue through the village of Lagares and its historic center, agricultural fields and woods where we will find the Castelões Waterfall. We begin the climb to the highest point of the trail where the Pegadinha viewpoint and swing are located.
From here we will pass through some of the Quinta da Aveleda vineyards, following a path set between schist stones, and then begin descending along a rural path that takes us back to the village of Quintandona.
We still have time to visit the Quintandona Natural Park, and get to know the biodiversity it houses a little better.
