Corgo Vineyards – The fall Colors

Our route begins in the small village of Alvações do Corgo, with its narrow streets nestled between terraced houses. From here, we head towards the Corgo River, descending through vineyards and small olive groves until we cross the river.

Those who descend must ascend, and on the other bank, we heve a climb toward the viewpoint of São Pedro Chapel, always passing through terraces and rows of vineyards.

We take the opportunity to stop and take photographs of the vineyards, which are even more beautiful at this time of year, bathed in yellow, brown, and red hues, as autumn demands.

At the viewpoint, we have the opportunity to admire the beautiful landscape of the Corgo Valley, where the small clusters of white houses contrast with the colors of the vineyards.

We continue through the vineyards, delighting in this arrangement of colors, as if we were looking at an immense rainbow falling across the terraces.

This will be the scenery that will escort us to the starting point, passing through several villages and along the beautiful banks of the Corgo river.
