A leisurely walk to explore the small village of Sevilha and the fertile valley of the Cavalos River.
We depart from the village of Tábua and walk towards the Mondego River until we find a huge granite outcrop with narrow passages and small cavities, which once served as shelter for shepherds. We are at Pedra da Sé, from where the views over the Mondego Valley are impressive.
From here we follow an old Roman road to reach the banks of the Aguieira reservoir, which we will follow until we find the small Cavalos River. We follow this small watercourse until we reach the village of Sevilha.
In this small village, we will have the opportunity to see the beautiful waterfalls, the medieval bridge, and the small mills that were once so important to this region.
We climb a little through agricultural areas and eucalyptus groves until we return to our starting point.
