From the estuary to the sea, through walkways, maritime pine forests, willows, strawberry trees and camarinhas, we will observe closely the areas of greatest ecological interest in this protected area.
We will cross two sets of dunes, which constitute the dune habitats that result from a practically natural evolution, which is only possible to observe in this area and which protect this sandy peninsula from the advances of the sea.
We will return to the beautiful forest towards Pateira de São Jacinto, where we can have the opportunity to observe several species of water birds, such as ducks, herons and birds of prey, which co-inhabit that place.
