Gaia river route

We will walk along water paths, mills and forests on a trail suitable for hot days.

We begin our trail in the village of Lavandeira, with its agricultural land and small vegetable gardens, then following the river that gives the village its name.

The trail then continues along the banks of the Gaia River with water paths and ruined mills.

We end up through dense forests of oaks and cork oaks where we are surprised by the multiple waterfalls that Gaia has to offer, before returning to the starting point.
