We start in the village of Loriga and prepare our legs for the vertical kilometer climb.
A long and difficult ascent where, in about 5 kilometers, we climb a little over 1000 meters, reaching the highest point in mainland Portugal. After a short rest, we begin the descent back down through the beautiful Loriga gorge. We pass through hollows, lakes, and streams, descending the terraces long ago created by the glaciers that slowly descended there.
This route, although very scenic, is quite technical and demands maximum concentration from anyone who wants to descend.
This will be one of those challenges that will stay in your memory, don't miss it!
