After starting our journey in the small village of Lomba, we will descend between terraces towards the lost village of Berlengas. Along narrow trails and stairs leading to terraces of fertile land, we will find some abandoned houses at the confluence of the Macieiras stream with the Agualva stream.
We then started to climb towards the village of Paraduça to reach a levada that fed 5 rotating mills. After visiting this village, we continued the route contemplating the beautiful Teixeira river valley.
After a brief climb we will find the village of Porqueiras, long abandoned, where its huge and imposing waterfall is located.
After the visit, we return to where we started.
