Starting from the village of Linhares da Beira, we will begin by exploring the agricultural fields that surround this beautiful village.
The rural paths, which once allowed the movement ox carts with food to sustain life in this castle, now serve to give us a glimpse of how people would have lived in those times.
Without losing sight of the imposing Linhares castle, we change the direction of our walk to look for the roman path that hiding between agricultural fields and areas of small oak forests.
Always with Estrela mountain as a backgound, we walk towards our starting point to visit the majestic medieval castle built during the reign of D. Dinis.
