This route takes us to the majestic Cai d'Alto waterfall, around 60 meters high, where the natural beauty and force of the water create a unique spectacle.
Starting from the mini-Hydroelectric power station, we literally follow the Poio River, a tributary river of the Tâmega, jumping from rock to rock. Along the “path”, we will find lagoons with crystal clear waters that invite you to take invigorating dips that are impossible to resist. The walk culminates in front of the famous Cai d'Alto waterfall, a true natural treasure that can only be accessed by following the course of this river. Facing this imposing waterfall, we will have unforgettable moments of contemplation and connection with nature and its refreshing waters.
