From the 15th to the 17th of November we headed to Sanabria to explore the woods and beaches along the lake and discover imposing, ancient yew trees.
On Saturday, it's time to walk along monks' paths side by side with Lake Sanabria, the largest glacial lake on the Iberian Peninsula. In this natural park it will be possible to marvel at the enchanted forests, mostly made of oaks, which at this time, brushed with different colors, show all their autumnal beauty. We will also have the opportunity to explore rural paths, mountains, fountains and sand and stone beaches.
On Sunday, we have a calmer, but no less beautiful walk. After a climb that takes us to a forest of holly and beech trees, we head to a viewpoint that gives us a beautiful view over the valley. From there we enter the high point of the walk, a forest of ancient yew trees, some up to 8 m in perimeter and 13 m in height, with corridors on wooden bridges to enjoy up close all the grandeur and beauty of the trees.
