We begin our journey at the Iberian Mask Interpretive Center, in the village of Lazarim. From here we will climb green terraced slopes along the banks of the Tarouca river, until we reach the village of Mazes, an uninhabited village but in good condition.
As we climb, the landscape changes, becoming more austere and dominated by bushes and rocky outcrops. We continue heading until we reach another village, Parafita.
From here we will continue descending to return to Lazarim, just in time to see the parade of traditional caretos and misses who delight everyone present.
