We will climb to the top of Pena Suar and enjoy the beautiful landscapes between the Marão and Alvão mountains.
We begin our walk leaving the village of Campeã with a gentle climb through pine and chestnut forests that allow us, here and there, to glimpse the rocky ridge of Pena Suar.
Suddenly we are surprised by a steep and very technical climb that will take us to the top of Pena Suar. Here we can enjoy the views and catch our breath a little if the famous winds of these parts allow us to have a moment of rest.
We begin to descend to pass from the rocky mountain environment to a more forested area where the plantations of pseudotsugas and birch trees offer us their shades of green and their shadows.
We return to the village of Campeã between agricultural fields, passing a beautiful old mill scenically planted between the stream and our path.
