Between the countryside and the sea. This will be a day for a beautiful walk, literally between the agricultural fields and the ocean waves.
We'll start from the North beach of Viana do Castelo and follow the ecotrail along the coastline. The warm days invite a swim, and if the sea is calm, we'll take the opportunity to cool off a bit.
Along this ecotrail, we'll find several windmills, making the perfect connection between the agricultural fields and the force of the sea breeze.
Arriving at the Montedor stream, it's time to change scenery and move into a more agricultural landscape with small fields planted by the sea.
It is here that we will find the already famous sunflower fields of Viana, which at this time of year should be at their peak bloom, following the sun's journey.
This will be a leisurely walk, suitable for these holiday times for those who want something more active than lying on a towel all day.
